The digitisation of the manuscript collection of the Olomouc Research Library continued in 2026 with three more volumes. All of them contain various theological and moral-didactic and meditative texts, as well as works of a meditative nature. Two codices (shelfmarks M I 259 and M II 153) originate from the library of the Carthusian monastery at Dolany and Olomouc, while the manuscript M II 220 is documented in the early modern period as part of the library of the Minorite friary at the Church of St James in Olomouc.

Manuscriptorium

Manuscriptorium is an international digital library run by the National Library of the Czech Republic. Within long-term projects, a virtual research environment is being developed providing access to digital documents in the sphere of written cultural heritage deposited in memory institutions worldwide (manuscripts, incunabula, early printed books, historical maps, and others).

These documents are now available in a digital library united interface together with special tools and the virtual environment context.
