Early Modern Manuscripts from the Regional Museum and Gallery in Most

In 2026, the Regional Museum and Gallery in Most has made six manuscripts from its collections available online, all from the second half of the eighteenth century. Two of them contain lecture notes taken by students at the Piarist college in Litomyšl (shelfmark 18/Ruk, 19/Ruk). The remaining items include a notated collection of liturgical chants of Franciscan provenance (24/Ruk), two German prayer books (42/Ruk, 63/Ruk), and an equestrian manual (122/Ruk).

Manuscriptorium

Manuscriptorium is an international digital library run by the National Library of the Czech Republic. Within long-term projects, a virtual research environment is being developed providing access to digital documents in the sphere of written cultural heritage deposited in memory institutions worldwide (manuscripts, incunabula, early printed books, historical maps, and others).

These documents are now available in a digital library united interface together with special tools and the virtual environment context.
