Manuscripts of the Museum of Prague

The digitisation of manuscripts from the Museum of Prague continued in 2025 with seven more books. Three of them are medieval: a collection of sermons (shelfmark H 008974), a part of the biblical commentary Postilla litteralis by Mikuláš of Lyra (H 008973), and a collection of theological works (H 008976). Two manuscripts contain autograph albums (alba amicorum) – the older one, which dates from 1586, was compiled by Georg Schaller (H 009330), while the autograph album of Jindřich Dobříkovský of Malejov (H 002707) dates from 1618. A legal miscellany (H 010875) also dates from the 17th century, the main part of which is an alphabetical list of persons investigated in 1622–1623; even younger is a prayer book decorated with numerous initials and other drawings (H 008763).
