This application is designed for easy creation of bibliographic descriptions of precious documents – manuscripts and old printed books. It was initiated as a reaction to the incentive of expert users not wishing to make records directly in XML format MASTER (considered now as an ideal solution).
Further, the program enables routine and quick creation of a vast number of simple records (short titles), to facilitate quick primary access of the fund.
Following the requirements of these users M-Edit was created, enabling easy creation (without any knowledge of data formats or XML in general) of records usable in any arbitrary processing system.
